I wanted to share something i just finished working on. The Fortress Galvanic Arts Website is now live and it looks beautiful. The artists really wanted a clean uncluttered user interface and I was more than up to the challenge of design simplicity. It is so odd how difficult it can be to layout less objects, your brain always tries to over complicate design. But simple, clean layouts are really satisfying and if you can overcome the temptation to over design you get some really delightful results.

Definitely take a look at the amazing mad scientist art these guys are doing. Fortress Galvanic Arts is Andhi Peters and Jason Fitzgerald, two talented and experienced bay area makers. Through their collaboration they’ve created a unique blend of science, art and craftsmanship. Manipulating and amplifying the process of Galvanic Corrosion, Fortress is able to offer custom metal etching services, and on a very large scale. As far as they know Fortress is the only large scale metal etching company in the world.
