I finally got a chance to work with good friends Peter Hinson and Trinity Cross. Peter is a programmer that I had the pleasure of working with in redesigning Trinity’s website. Trinity is the owner and operator of Field Day Wearable, an independent clothing company out of Oakland, CA. Field day makes original Organic Bamboo and up-cycled clothing, by hand, in Oakland. » Read the rest of this entry «

I just finished the Creative Writing Department Website (CRW) for Austin Community College. This Is the second site I’ve now completed for ACC, having also designed and developed their Foreign Language Department Website (FOLA) and I thought I’d share my experiences. Both sites are currently live and if you haven’t checked em out yet, I do recommend that you do so.

One of the things i really like about this business is the fact that working doesn’t actually cost me any more money than not working. I have no material overhead (although i do regularly invest in my computers and pay rent), no employees, and unlike a builder or fabricator I don’t have to buy metal just to try something out. The structures that i build are essentially conceptual. So, if i have the time i like to fill it with creative projects.

I wanted to share something i just finished working on. The Fortress Galvanic Arts Website is now live and it looks beautiful. This last week has been quite a week, folks. Went to San Francisco to visit my visiting french Grandma and just returned. It was real nice to hang out with family even though I essentially worked the whole time. Thankfully i can take my computer with me and set up office anywhere I go. I am counting my blessings and hoping that my grandmother can eventually fly back to France.

The website is up and i thought it best to give some props to novestudio.com. This website was a big inspiration on how i wanted austin design shop feel. I love how they use the horizontal space to create their gallery and how the splash page serves to split the structure of the page (gallery and Blog). Check out nove studio and you’ll see how the site inspired this one. PLUS, the artist is amazing. CLICK HERE AND ENJOY
